THE MVL EXPERIENCE
How are we different?
Limited Scope Representation (aka Unbundled Legal Services)
Your legal matter is important and unique to you. Legal help should not be one-size-fits-all or all or nothing. You no longer have to choose between spending thousands of dollars on legal fees or figuring it out on your own. Whether you can’t afford attorneys fees or don’t want to give away control of your legal need to an attorney, we provide another option.
We offer limited scope representation, also known as unbundled legal services, for your legal matter. Unbundling allows you to hire an attorney to assist in a limited scope and manner with regard to specific parts of your legal matter. This includes things like legal advice, document preparation, and document review. You and your MyVirtual.Lawyer attorney enter into an agreement with specific tasks that the attorney will complete or assist you with and tasks that you will perform (with our guidance, of course).
Limited Scope Representation allows you to only pay for the legal help that you need and may not have otherwise been able to afford. You will have quality documents and support from a local attorney so that you are better prepared to handle your legal matter.
Why is the MVL experience better for you?
Know the Cost of Your Legal Service UP FRONT
How can you budget for your legal service if you have no idea how much it will cost? You don’t pay by the hour for restaurants to cook your food or for your doctor’s visit. Why should you pay by the hour for your legal services?
We hate billing by the hour and believe you should know how much your legal service will cost at the start of the matter. That’s why we offer transparent flat fees for all of our services. A flat fee is an amount that is charged or paid that does not change according to the amount of work done or the number of times something is used. You will never get a big, random bill at the end of our services and you can find our fees listed right here on our website.
In addition to our up front, flat fee quotes, we also offer flexible payment plans to put legal help within reach and eliminate the extra stress of paying for your legal matter. Whether you are growing a business or going through a divorce, we create a plan to meet you where you are so that you can focus on your business or yourself!
Get the Help You Need When & Where You Need It
That’s right! No need to take off work and drive down to meet an intimidating attorney in some fancy office. Connect with a MyVirtual.Lawyer attorney right at your fingertips, from your office or at home in your jammies. We are 100% virtual. What does that mean for you? You can hop on our calendar for a consult and communicate with us throughout our relationship, at a time and from a place that is convenient for YOU!
Initially we connect by phone to visit about your legal needs. You can sign up on our calendar through this website by clicking the “Let’s Chat” button then choosing an attorney and a time that works for you. Complete the information, pay a small consultation fee, and then the MyVirtual.Lawyer attorney will call you at your scheduled appointment time. Prefer to talk to a person? No problem. We have someone available to help you schedule your appointment 24/7/365. Just call our toll-free number, 1-855-936-4545.
After we start working together (high five), then we will communicate pretty much exclusively through a client portal. What’s a client portal? It’s a secure, encrypted way for us to protect your information and communicate. In your client portal, you can share and review documents, sign agreements, pay your invoice, and have a direct connection to message your MyVirtual.Lawyer attorney, all in one place.
